Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I’m so glad you’ve decided to take this first step. I want our sessions together to feel comfortable, safe, and supportive. And while I try to tailor my therapy approach to each individual’s needs and preferences, I do hope that over time I can help you learn to approach life’s difficult experiences with more self-compassion and awareness.
I’m currently practicing with my limited license (LLMSW) in the state of Michigan. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and my bachelors degree from Central Michigan University. My previous experience includes facilitating virtual prenatal support groups and providing support in a variety of outpatient healthcare clinics as a medical social worker. My areas of clinical interest vary - from helping those who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, trying to heal after a loss, to helping folks who are managing stress from school, work, or relationships.
Currently, I’m offering in-person and Telehealth sessions based on schedule availability. One of the most important aspects of therapy is finding a clinician that feels like a good fit for you - so please reach out if you have any questions or want to get a better sense of how we might work together!
