Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Seeking therapy can be scary and anxiety provoking. Congratulations for taking the first step!

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and have over 25 years of experience in the field of mental health. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts. We will work together to identify and break down barriers to where you want to be in your life. My goal is to reduce negative symptoms as soon as possible and help you move toward optimum health and well-being.

I utilize evidenced - based interventions including CBT, (cognitive behavioral therapy), Mindfulness, ACT, (acceptance and commitment therapy) and many others.  We choose which approach works best for you. The topics I treat include depression, anxiety, the impact of chronic illness on mental health, grief and loss, trauma, (PTSD), relationship issues and many other problems affecting how we feel and operate in the world.

I approach my work with a holistic perspective, always pairing the body and mind together. I work with your primary care and specialty care provider when appropriate. I will also work directly with your psychiatrist and help you find one if needed. If it looks like we would be a good fit, I support you in moving forward to schedule an appointment with me. I look forward to meeting you!
