Hello there!

I am glad you decided to stop by, because an important part of therapy is making sure I am the right fit for you! Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about Me.

My background

I am a fully licensed clinical social worker (LMSW) who brings years of experience as a mental health professional. I have had the privilege of serving a wide range of individuals who have suffered from various mental health setbacks. I earned my Masters in Social Work at Wayne State University in 2018 and received my Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University in 2015.

My background as a Clinical Social Worker comes from working in community mental health with those that are medically fragile as well as individuals with an autism diagnosis. I also have experience working in the hospital system where I held roles in the emergency department, psychiatric emergency department, psychiatric inpatient hospitalization and inpatient rehabilitation.

More about my therapeutic style

Remember the first step is to find someone who would be a great match for you! I would describe my personality as authentic, bubbly, genuine, and interactive. Think of our therapy sessions as if you were spending time with a friend you could vent to. During our time together, I would tailor sessions to your specific needs. Some of the approaches I utilize in sessions include, person centered, strength based and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic; while also providing you with a safe, relaxed, supported, comfortable, and personal experience.

I have found my niche working with the adult population. If you are an adult who is interested in starting their therapeutic journey working through anxiety, stress, life transitions, chronic illness, depression, adjustment disorders, relationship and/or marital issues, families, divorce, grief and loss, and/or are a parent of a child with developmental disabilities ranging from ADHD to ASD, I may be the right fit for you.

I am currently accepting clients and encourage you to schedule an appointment with me as I am excited to meet you and help you through your therapeutic journey.
