Welcome...l'm so glad you made it here!

Taking the first step to seeking counseling is a brave choice and choosing the right therapist is an important decision. Let me tell you a bit about myself to see if I am right for you...

As a Clinical Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals from diverse backgrounds, religions, and cultures. My goal is to assist you in accessing your full potential mentally, emotionally, and physically. My clients report feeling empowered, worthy, and have gained the confidence to live the life they desire since working with me. My approach involves providing a listening ear, useful techniques, humor, and creating a safe and judgment-free space for you to thrive in.

My background ...

I bring over 9 years of experience as a mental health professional and have had the privilege of serving a wide range of populations in roles such as a behavioral health specialist for a pediatric clinic, a crisis technician for individuals living with autism, a medical social worker providing grief support for patients with detrimental diseases and working as a mental health professional for a Juvenile Detention center. My diverse experience has given me insight into a wide range of mental health challenges and strengthened my ability to support individuals facing a variety of challenges.

More about my therapeutic style...

I am a firm believer in the power of discovering how underlying dynamics influence how we think, feel, behave, and interact with others. I use a collective, holistic approach to my practice meaning I delve into how the environment, society, family, and school can affect mental health while keeping social justice and equality at the forefront of my practice.

My approach is client-centered based on your needs, goals, and experiences. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. My integrated therapy approach combines different techniques to find the best treatment for you, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and

trauma-focused techniques.

My specialties include depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, racism, severe medical conditions, women's issues, self-image issues, sexuality, health anxiety, and OCD. Whether you are struggling with a specific issue or simply looking for guidance as you navigate life's ups and downs, I am here to help. Please reach out today to begin your healing process!
