Hi, my name is Jillian!
I am so glad you are here! Taking the first step toward therapy can feel vulnerable, and I want you to know that you’re in the right place. I’m dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and affirming space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and self-understanding.
Approach to Therapy
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma, and much more. I bring experience from working with children, teens, adults, and parents, helping families strengthen communication, build coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges together. I’m also passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients as they explore identity, self-acceptance, and authenticity.
My therapy style is warm, laid-back, and collaborative, while gently challenging you to notice patterns, consider new perspectives, and lean into growth. I integrate mindfulness, values-based reflection/identification, and trauma-informed practices to help you connect with yourself and the things that truly matter to you, while also utilizing tools from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and more.
Fun facts about me
Outside of therapy sessions, you’ll often find me reading, listening to music, gaming, watching TV/movies, or spending time with my cats, Honey and Maple!
I look forward to meeting you!
