Hi, I'm Shannon! Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me!


I have an undergraduate degree in Social Work (BSW) from Oakland University as well as a graduate degree from the University of Michigan with a (MSW) Master's in Social Work. My  pathway concentration was in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health and Mental Health, which focuses upon total health and the connection between physical, mental, and behavioral health.  I am also dedicated to social justice and diversity issues and I believe in supporting the value and dignity of every person.

I  am versed in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of different life experiences. I utilize a person-centered integrative approach to treatment, adapting therapy to meet the unique needs and wishes of my clients. My treatment approaches that I often utilize consist of Strength-based Approach; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Behavioral Interventions; Anger Management; Solution Focused Therapy...and just a listening ear!
